According to TSU expert people will soon be forced to migrate due to climate change
According to the report recently published by the World Meteorological Organization concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere surged at a record-breaking speed in 2016 to the highest level in 800 000 years. The Head of the Bio-Clim-Land Center of Excellence Professor Sergez N. Kirpotin commented on this announcement regarding the climate change in Siberia. He highlighted that due to the changes Siberia witnesses the unusual for this climate zone phenomena including tornados, droughts and floods. These phenomena in turn trigger large flows of migrants fleeing from unfavourable weather conditions. The siruation was also discussed at the International scientific seminar of the International research network SecNet in Salekhard on October, 31.
