Within the framework of RFBR project “The impact of beavers’ environment-forming activity on the condition of ponds and fish resources” (Head Viktor K. Popkov, Scientist at the laboratory of biodiversity and ecology at TSU), fish samples were taken and its numbers were measured.
Within the framework of the other projects, scientists executed the expedition's primary task. It was the sampling of water and snow and their following analysis on heavy metals, trace elements, general hydrochemical analysis, as well as measuring the depth of Ob small tributaries. These projects are:
• Government assignment - “The structure and functioning of inundable biogeocenoses of Ob River in the context of climatic and anthropogenic changes” No. 5.4004.2017 / PC (Head Sergey N. Kirpotin, Director of BioClimLand Center of Excellence, Head of the laboratory of biodiversity and ecology at TSU)
• RSF “Mechanisms of Ob hydrochemical runoff’s formation: the regulating role of the floodplain” No. 18-17-00237 (Head Sergey N. Vorob`ev, Director of Center for Collective Usage “Mega-transect”, Scientist at the laboratory of biodiversity and ecology at TSU)
• RFBR “The role of small tributaries in establishing the hydrochemical and gas regime of Ob: processes, mechanisms and global consequences” No. 18-05-00404 \ 18 (Head Sergey N. Vorob`ev)
• RFBR "Reverse connections of emission and export of carbon from the intracontinental waters of Western Siberia with the landscape structure in the climate change context» No. 17-55-16008 (Head Sergey N. Kirpotin)
At the same time, the workshop of Executive Director and leading scientists of SecNet and the fish inspection’s staff of Krivosheinsky district was held at Kajbasovo research station, where the participants discussed the issues concerned interaction.
