Why ice is melting there? Scientists discuss the strategy for the Arctic research
The Norwegian Longyearbyen hosts the annual forum of the organizations involved in the largescale international research program for the Arctic research and monitoring – INTERACT 2. Among the participants – Sheffield University, Arctic Institute of North America, University of Alaska Fairbanks, Tomsk State University and other acknowledged research centers. Within the forum agenda participants will discuss the results of their activity for the past year and a strategy of further research of climate change in the Arctic area and the Northern territories.
