TSU will develop tool for remote petroleum exploration in the Arctic
TSU researchers have launched the creation of the new hardware and software equipment for the distance exploration and monitoring of oilfields and natural gas deposits in the Arctic. It provides both scientists and industries with the opportunity for efficient and ecologically safe natural resources development. The equipment uses the frequency analysis of gases indicating hydrogen. Special sensors will detect them and forward the information to the computer-based system that will then range the information and create 3D model of the deposits location. The usage of the equipment will cut time, labour and financial costs of the resources exploration.
